What people are saying…
Great conference! It was fun and packed with useful info and good speakers—was well worth it. ~ Leslie
The Get Published Conference 2017 was not only informative and fun, but so encouraging! Getting to talk with people who have done the business of writing and know how to succeed is a big boost and I will put the event on my schedule for next year. Thanks Lynn! ~ Vanessa
BEFORE: Had I signed up for the wrong conference? Would a ‘Get Writing’ conference have been a better choice?
AFTER: I don’t think so. As an unpublished novice, I was there to learn. And learn I did.
I quickly realized why this conference could be held successfully every year. Each presenter had multiple tips, both personal and general, websites to visit, and unique perspectives for the attendees to ponder. Even though the conference focused on the many facets of publishing, all the presenters stressed that the core of it all is writing; your best writing. Like a tree, roots of experiences support the trunk of writing and that can fragment into the limbs, twigs, and leaves of the possibilities and choices in today’s publishing world. The published end product, the fruit, can be in many different forms and have taken a myriad of paths.
I thoroughly enjoyed each presenter and their diverse approaches. Even the exploration of writers’ passions unexpectedly pushed me to contemplate why I feel impelled to write.
Thank you; Janet, Rebecca, Troy, Robyn and Lynn. (Also Vanessa and Mark). ~ Hillary
I definitely found Lynn’s “Get Published Conference” to be truly valuable for what I needed! It provided up-to-date, down-to-earth answers to my endless writer’s questions. The presenters showed us what to expect, as well as how to persist (and eventually bushwhack our way into) the Daunting, Constantly-Changing World of Publishing Today. I will definitely be signing up for Lynn’s next conference. ~ Jane Susann
